We invite submissions to SOSP’s poster session. The poster session will provide an opportunity to present early-stage work and receive feedback from the community. Contributions will be selected by the Poster program committee based on a 2-page abstract submitted through the SOSP Poster submission website: https://sosp23posters.hotcrp.com/

Topics must fall within the scope of the SOSP call for papers; thought-provoking or controversial work, approaches, or ideas are encouraged. We particularly encourage submission of early work that is not yet ready for publication at a refereed conference or journal.

Submissions will be judged based on novelty and insightfulness of presented work. Preference will be given to student posters presenting exciting new results, however, we welcome abstracts from non-students as well.

Posters must be submitted by September 13, 2023 (23:59:59 AoE). Authors will be notified of the outcome by September 20 27, 2023 (or earlier). The poster will be presented during a poster session at the conference.

Note for accepted SOSP papers: Authors are invited to present a poster. Please register your poster on the above submission website; the abstract is not required.

Submission Instructions

Poster abstract should be at most 2 pages long (excluding references), in two column format, with a text block of maximum 7 x 9 inches (17.8 x 22.9 cm), font size of minimum 10pt, and at least 12pt leading. Submissions must be in PDF format and include:

  • title
  • author names and affiliations,
  • a note indicating which authors (if any) are students

Submissions that do not conform to these requirements will be rejected.
